The money used to be great consistently, but now they have overhired so many other shoppers that it\u2019s hard to make the kind of money we used to. Is it a nice side gig for some extra cash? Yes. But would I quit my day job for it? No. I would say the pay does average out to be about $20\/hour, but in my area there\u2019s not enough shops to work consistently at that pay rate. I teach, so the flexibility is wonderful for me. I work more in the summer, and only one night a week during the school year. I will say that the $25\/hr figure listed is definitely on the high end.
