Thanks to the initial success of the Lowe\u2019s 100 Hometowns program in 2021, they\u2019re back with a $100 million 5-year commitment by launching Lowe\u2019s Hometowns.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Lowe\u2019s<\/a> 100 Hometowns initiative is back! \ud83d\udc9b<\/strong><\/h2>\n

We love to see retailers giving back to the communities they serve, and Lowe\u2019s has just announced a huge funding project<\/a>\u00a0that is sure to have a big impact on hundreds of communities across the country!<\/p>\n

The home improvement store has just revealed its plans for a new $100 million commitment to community impact projects nationwide. This five-year program is called Lowe\u2019s Hometowns<\/a>, and it will fund 1,800 community impact projects from 2022 through 2026. Around 100 of these projects will be chosen from customer nominations, with the rest coming from 1,700 Lowe\u2019s locations.<\/p>\n

To make Lowe\u2019s Hometowns possible, the retailer is partnering with Points of Light<\/a>, a disaster response nonprofit organization. They\u2019ve also enlisted the help of designer, author, and Emmy-nominated host Bobby Berk.<\/p>\n

As I travel across the country, I\u2019ve seen how now, more than ever, communities need our help. Whether it is a safe space for kids to play after school or a training center to help job seekers get back on their feet, the projects we\u2019re taking on with Lowe\u2019s Hometowns will have real meaning for those in need. \u2013 Bobby Berk<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Nominate your favorite local cause for a Lowe\u2019s 100 Hometowns Grant<\/a>.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

If you have a community project or mission you\u2019re passionate about, visit lowes-hometowns.com<\/a> by March 28 to submit a nomination. Eligible projects include neighborhood housing, skilled trades education facilities, community centers, and outdoor spaces.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re planning to nominate a project, it\u2019s recommended that you inform the benefitting organization that you\u2019re nominating them for this grant ahead of time. The nomination process takes about 10 minutes, and you\u2019ll be asked for the following information:<\/p>\n
